The Motor City Model UN Club was founded in 2005. It was founded to provide Metro Detroit youth with an opportunity
to gain hands on knowledge and development in international affairs. Our club members attend schools throughout the Metro
Detroit area.
Our club is open to students in grades 5th through 8th. Club meetings are held during the school
year. Students learn about the organizational makeup and role of the United Nations. They also do detailed research on UN
